CLIENT: ODIN CAFE + BAR

Odin Cafe + Bar approached me to help them out with a new logo. What they actually needed was a whole branding package! They already had the name and the interior of the bar designed, so that was great starting point for the branding process. The modern, faceted nature of the architecture led me to a rune-inspired aesthetic—perfect for a Norse-themed cafe. The main icon is literally the face of the brand, so it was important to keep the design intricate enough to be interesting, but simple and structured enough to be legible.

MODERN MIXED WITH MYTH

The goal was to create a mark that was attention grabbing to a modern audience, but still paid homage to the gods of old.

The Vic Café is a restaurant and coffee shop in Picton, Ontario (also know as Prince Edwards County). Their menu is full of honest, clean-eating, freshly-made food and ethical coffee. I wanted this little coffee shop with big flavors to have a brand that matched its ideals. A bold and energetic look was created that transformed a historic neighborhood coffee spot into a memorable destination for visitors and a cozy hideaway for locals.

A music festival that starts in the morning and combines breakfast foods and pop punk? You got it! I created the food-filled logo, the merch, and the poster for this fun event.
